We – Green Technology Devices – are very excited to bring you the result of several months of hard work and pure determination. But before we tell you the good news let us do a little memory exercise for those who don’t know: by this time of the year back in 2014 we were the first company worldwide to deliver a working solution for Toyota/Lexus/Scion. Until that date, direct tuning of their respective engine control unit’s was something that could only be done by the manufacturer – it was an “impossible target”. Back then while others were speaking about solutions and innovation we just did what we do best: we delivered pure innovation both for chip tuners and for repair workshop technicians.
As living on the past is not a good thing, from those times we kept not only the experience but also the good feeling of sharing success with our customers, who in turn, were the first tuning Toyota’s on their countries. Now, once again, we are driving innovation by delivering a new JTAG module for the VF2 Flasher. This exclusive module unlocks the possibility of fully reading/writing engine and transmission control unit’s which contain Renesas SH725xx MCU’s (R5F725xx markings). These are the new breed of asian microcontrollers (the computer behind engine control) for automotive powertrain. We remind that this new module is both suitable for chip tuners as well as repair shop technicians as it does full reading and writing. Tooling for this new module is also already available on our webshop or through our sales representatives.
